Questions about me, Norelle Hentschel.

Who are you?

I’m Norelle Hentschel, Naturopath and owner of Your Remedy Naturopathy, a natural health clinic on the Lower North Shore of Sydney. You can learn more about me by heading over to my About page.

What are your qualifications?

I hold a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy from Endeavour College of Natural Health. I graduated dux of my year. This 4-year degree included comprehensive training in herbal medicine, nutrition dietary planning, pharmacology, pathology and diagnostic techniques. I continually upgrade my clinical knowledge by doing ongoing professional education. I have most recently completed a Masterclass in Fertility.

How much does an appointment cost?

How long will an appointment take?

Initial appointments are 60 -75 minutes and follow up appointments are 30-40 minutes.

Do you offer Telehealth appointments?

Yes, I offer Telehealth appointments. For more details on how this works head to the Online consults page.

Can I get a Private Health Fund rebate?

From April 2019, changes to Federal Government legislation meant many private health funds stopped offering rebates for Naturopathy. Check your specific circumstances with your health fund.

Do you bulk bill under Medicare?

No, Naturopathy is not currently included in Medicare.

How many appointments will I need?

That depends on your condition. Acute conditions (like colds and flu) may only require 1 or 2 appointments. Chronic conditions may require longer term treatment. This will be discussed as part of your initial consultation.  My goal is to get you well as soon as we can.

What payment options do you accept?

For consultations in person, payment is made at the time of the consultation. We accept cash, EFTPOS and all major credit cards (except American Express). For telehealth appointments payment is made online as part of the booking process.

What services do you offer?

I use Naturopathy, Nutrition, Herbal Medicine and Flower Essences in my treatments. I do not offer homeopathy, massage or energy healing as I have not been trained in those modalities.

What conditions do you treat?

I support clients with a wide range of health conditions. You can get more information on the Health Issues page. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to have a quick chat about how I can help you.

Do you treat animals?

No, I am not trained in the treatment of animals.

Do you use medicinal canabis?

No, medicinal cannabis is a restricted substance and it is not legal for Naturopaths or herbalists in Australia to prescribe it.

I've been prescribed supplements/herbs from another Naturopath. Can I buy them from you?

Yes, if you have a valid prescription from another practitioner you can purchase these from me. I will need a copy of the prescription for my records. If you don’t have a prescription a consultation will be required (for legal reasons).  Please contact me to discuss further.

Where are you located?

The Your Remedy Naturopathy clinic is located in the heart of the Crows Nest business district in Sydney, Australia. The address is: The Transformation Space, Level 1, 54 Alexander Street.

Does the building have a lift?

No, there is no lift in the building. The clinic is on the first floor up one flight of stairs.

Does your clinic have restrooms?

Yes, there are male and female restrooms in the clinic.

Where can I park?

While the clinic has no customer parking there are metered/unmetered street parking on Alexander and Burlington Streets. There is a public car park on Holterman Street and, if you combine your visit with some grocery shopping, you can park two hours for free in the Woolworths car park on Burlington Street.

Are you near public transport?

Yes, The are many buses within a 2-5 minute walk of the clinic on Burlington Street, Falcon Street and the Pacific Highway. The St Leonards train station is an 800m walk.
