OUR RESPONSIBILITY

Your Remedy Naturopathy is a member of the Australian Naturopathic Practitioners Association (ANPA) (15/0786) and all consultations are conducted in accordance with their code of ethics https://anpa.asn.au/code-of-ethics/.

Minimum professional qualifications for all our Naturopaths are Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy).

At Your Remedy Naturopathy we aim to provide the highest standards in modern Naturopathic practice, where practitioners show their dedication to quality health care by:

  • Working with our clients to determine the most effective path to overcome health problems and achieve wellness.
  • Prioritising the safety of our clients, particularly for those using prescribed pharmaceutical medications or with complex health needs.
  • Respecting the value of research evidence in practice and evaluate all available information (including traditional evidence) to identify the most appropriate and relevant treatment options.
  • Acknowledging the limitations of our scope of practice and referring patients to more appropriate health care providers as needed and without hesitation

PROBLEMS

Naturopathic services are not therapy, coaching or counseling or a substitute for any of these.

Naturopathic services are not suited for critical care, surgical or emergency health situations.

Due to the complex nature of health conditions and the individual commitment involved from each client we cannot guarantee specific health outcomes.

If you have any concerns about your treatment or appropriateness of your care plan, please don’t hesitate to notify your Naturopath or seek advice from your other health care providers.

We have spent a great deal of time researching and creating content to provide information, education and inspiration for your health. We ask that you don’t copy or pass this off as your own work (content, images, diagrams, logos etc.) or use it for unlawful purposes.

We are happy for you to share our content on social media and other platforms. Please use the content as it is presented in its entirety with appropriate acknowledgements to us as the source.

Payment Terms

 

FORMS OF PAYMENT

Payment for naturopathic consultations are made at the conclusion of the consultation. A tax invoice will issued via email or hard copy.

We accept most major credit cards (with the exception of American Express), EFTPOS, cash and direct deposit.

PAYMENT PLANS

We do not have the facility for payment plans.

SECURITY POLICY

We do not store your credit card information.

 

Delivery

Consultations delivered face to face at the Suite 3.25 “The Bower” 433 Logan Road, Queensland 4120.

In order not to inconvenience our other clients and get the best value out of your appointment we ask you make every effort to be punctual. If you arrive late you may not receive the full duration of the session booked.

 

Cancellation & Returns Policy

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATIONS

We send appointment reminders 48 hours in advance to your registered email address.

Cancellations for Naturopathic consultations made with more than 24 hours notice attract no charge. We do appreciate you contacting us as early as possible to allow your appointment time to be rebooked.

If you find yourself having to cancel your appointment within 24 hours a cancellation fee of 50% of the consultation fee will apply. If you cancel within 12 hours or are a “no show” the full consultation fee will be charged. **Exceptions may be made for extenuating circumstances.

PRODUCT RETURNS

A full refund will be provided for nutritional and herbal supplements from the Your Remedy Naturopathy Dispensary if the following occurs:

  • The item is damaged, spoiled or otherwise unfit for consumption. We ask that you notify us within 14 days of purchasing the product.
  • The item is subject to a Therapeutic Goods of Australia or Manufacturer product recall.

OBTAINING A REFUND

To obtain a refund please return the remaining product to Your Remedy Naturopathy (Suite 3.25, 433 Logan Road Greenslopes, QLD 4120) and a refund will be issued. If the product was purchased using a credit card it is our preference to refund to the same credit card used to purchase.

We will cover the cost of standard postage to return the item to us.

CHANGE OF MIND

There are no refunds on products if you change your mind.

RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION

We value feedback and respectful debate. We do ask however that discussions are kept polite and on topic. Rude and offensive behaviour will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to delete unacceptable comments and block users from our site.

 

Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

 

JURISDICTION

Your Remedy Naturopathy is located in Queensland. This agreement is subject to the governing law of Queensland.

NEGOTIATION

If you have any issue or complaint arising out of your use of this website or these terms and conditions, you and Your Remedy Naturopathy agree to make a genuine effort to resolve the dispute through negotiation and discussion.

MEDIATION

If we are unable to resolve a dispute by negotiation and discussion within 14 days, the parties must proceed to mediation with the assistance of an accredited mediator who is independent of the parties. The mediator is to be appointed by agreement of the parties or, failing agreement within twenty-one (21) days of the first notification of the dispute, by a person appointed by the Chair of Resolution Institute, (ACN 008 651 232, Level 2, 13-15 Bridge Street, Sydney NSW 2000; telephone: 02 9251 3366, email: infoaus@resolution.institute) or the Chair’s designated representative. The Resolution Institute Mediation Rules shall apply to the mediation. We agree to share the costs of mediation equally between us.

LITIGATION

It is a condition precedent to the right of either party to commence litigation other than for interlocutory relief that it has first offered to submit the dispute to mediation. Litigation is to be considered a last resort and may not be commenced until, in the opinion of the independent mediator, the potential for negotiation and mediation have been exhausted.
