Clinical experience

I am the owner and naturopath at Your Remedy Naturopathy, a natural health clinic which has been operating since 2015.

I continue to undertake regular professional development, ensuring my clients receive care that aligns with the latest research and best-practice naturopathic standards.

Why I became a naturopath

Growing up on a dairy farm in regional Australia, I developed a deep appreciation for nature, food as medicine, and self-sufficiency. After many years working in the performing arts, I experienced first-hand how stress and lifestyle can impact health leaving me with eczema and chronic insomnia. This led me to study naturopathy and dedicate my career to helping others find balance, resilience and vitality.

My approach to naturopathic care

When you sit down with me, the first thing you’ll notice is that I really do listen. Your health story matters — every detail helps us understand the bigger picture.

From there, we gently piece things together.

Your consultation may include

  • Comprehensive health history + symptom assessment
  • Dietary and lifestyle guidance
  • Evidence-informed herbal and nutritional prescriptions
  • Functional testing (if needed)
  • A clear, achievable health plan
  • Collaboration with your GP or specialist when appropriate

Everything we do is designed to be doable, supportive, and tailored to your real life — not a list of impossible instructions.

Why holistic skin and gut health are my special interest

Over the years I noticed the same story coming up again and again:
people struggling with their skin, gut, or both — and not getting the clarity they needed.

Issues like

🌿 persistent acne
🌿 bloating, discomfort or “reactive” digestion
🌿 eczema or rashes
🌿 reflux or nausea
🌿 constipation, diarrhoea or IBS
🌿 skin that flares “for no reason”
🌿 food reactions that leave you confused
🌿 skin that won’t heal no matter how many products you try

I saw so many people feeling dismissed, overwhelmed, or stuck bouncing between temporary fixes that never got to the root of the problem.

And that’s where naturopathy shines: skin and digestion always tell a story.

You just need someone who knows how to listen.

What working with me feels like

  • really listen
  • explain things in a way that makes sense
  • help them feel in control again

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a naturopath do?

A naturopath takes a holistic approach to health, looking at how diet, digestion, stress, lifestyle, hormones and environment all influence the body. My role is to support your health using evidence-informed natural medicine, while working alongside your GP or specialist when appropriate.

Are you a qualified naturopath?

Yes. I hold an undergraduate Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) and a post graduate Master of Advanced Naturopathic Medicine. I am a professional member of the Australian Naturopathic Practitioners Association (ANPA) which requires me to hold all appropriate insurances and complete on-going professional development education to ensure my care aligns with current best practice.

Can a naturopath help with skin conditions?

Yes. Many skin concerns are influenced by digestion, inflammation, stress, hormones and immune function. I take a whole-body approach to skin health, working to understand what may be driving your symptoms and supporting your skin from the inside out.

Can naturopathy help with digestive issues like bloating or IBS?

Digestive concerns are one of the most common reasons people see a naturopath. I work with issues such as bloating, reflux, IBS, constipation, diarrhoea and food reactions, focusing on identifying underlying contributors rather than just managing symptoms.

Do you work alongside my GP or dermatologist?

Yes. Naturopathy works best as part of a collaborative healthcare approach. I’m very happy to work alongside your GP, dermatologist or other specialists to support your existing treatment plan where appropriate.

Where are you located?

Your Remedy Naturopathy is located in Greenslopes, Brisbane. I support clients from across Brisbane who are looking for personalised naturopathic care, with a particular focus on skin and digestive health. Appointments can also be conducted via Telehealth (Australia wide).
